Odessa National Medical University

The institution started in 1900 as the medical faculty of the Novorossiyskiy State University in Odessa. The medical faculty soon became one of the most prestigious medical faculties in the Russian Empire. Many famous medical scientists, including Nobel laureate and professor I. I. Mechnikov, worked here.
The medical faculty managed to survive the difficult and turbulent period of the early years of the Russian revolution and in 1922 it was transformed into the independent and autonomous Odessa State Medical Institute. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, it became Odessa State Medical University in an independent Ukrainian Republic.
Today, the Odessa National Medical University remains one of the leading medical universities in Ukraine. It is a member of the International Association of Medical Universities and the high standards of training at the institution are well recognized throughout Europe and America. The university consists of 58 faculties and has a student population of over six thousand, including foreign students from very diverse countries. Tuition is given in the Russian, Ukrainian, and English languages.

Donetsk National Medical University

Donetsk National Medical University of Maxim Gorky (abbreviated as DonNMU[1] or DNMU) is one of the largest medical university of the former USSR. The University is considered as one of the best medical schools in Ukraine. University is relocated in Kirovograd city now from Donetsk due to the war in Donbass.

Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy

The Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy was founded in 1921 by the Odontologic faculty of the Kharkiv Medical Academy. In 1967, the academy moved to Poltava and was renamed the Poltava Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy (PUMSA). In 1994, it was granted the sixth highest accreditation level and the status of a Poltava State Medical University (PSMU), because of its low death rate during surgeries. As of 2004, PSMU had reached a confirmed level IV accreditation

Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University

January 17, 1996 Mykolaiv branch of National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” was founded according to the decision of NUKMA and certified by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (July 3, 1996).
March 13, 2002 Petro Mohyla Mykolaiv State Humanitarian University was founded on the basis of Mykolaiv branch of National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” according to the Order №112-р of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
December 10, 2008 Petro Mohyla Mykolaiv State Humanitarian University was reorganized into Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University according to the Order №1521-р of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

Sumy State University

The Sumy State University (SSU) (Ukrainian: Сумський державний університет) is located in Sumy Oblast, in the historical region of Sloboda Ukraine. According to the Webometrics Rating, Sumy State University ranks 6th in worldwide Internet rating among Ukrainian institutes of higher education as of July 2012.[citation needed]
